It was a frenzy last night as Italian journalist and arguably one of football’s most reliable informer Fabrizio Romano announced on his Twitter page that Argentina player and world cup winner Enzo Fernández is coming to Chelsea.
Chelsea has been on a splurging spree and the £106.8m on the 22 year-old midfielder has been hailed as a worthy investment for the British club. It’s also a British record, surpassing the transfer fee of £100m for Jack Grealish.
Fabrizio disclosed that everything’s in order and papers are getting signed with Enzo preparing to fly to London via Turkish Airlines.
